The Douglas Hyde Restaurant, named after the first President of Ireland, who was born in Castlerea, County Roscommon, offers an elegant, fine dining experience which is unique in the region. It has been recently awarded with a second AA Rosette which boasts locally sourced produce.
For the golf enthusiast, the hotel is also ideally located on the North Western seaboard of Ireland within a 40 minute drive of one of Ireland greatest Courses, Rosses Point in Sligo, which is widely regarded as one of the most picturesque and challenging championship links courses. The course boasts one of the most scenic locations in Ireland perched on cliffs that tower over three expansive beaches overlooking the Atlantic. The panoramic mountain and ocean views are spectacular but they pale in comparison to the stunning scenery provided by Benbulben, an enormous limestone rock formation that the area is known for.
